Members-only offerIf the person helping you run your clinic is organised, reliable and brilliant with people... but every decision still lands on your desk... The Manager Transformation Course was built for them. Four months of live, practical training - whether they’ve been managing for years or they’re brand new to the role.

Sound familiar? Because we hear it all the time.
“They’re brilliant. But if I stepped away for a fortnight, everything would grind to a halt.”
Still answering every question.
Still solving every problem.
Still checking the numbers.
Still chasing accountability.
Still having the difficult conversations.
Still running every team meeting.
Still making every operational decision.
So every question, every problem and every decision still routes through one person.
You. Which let’s face it, is bloody exhausting!
I mean, you didn’t build a team so that you’d have even more work to do! But right now, you’re still the bottleneck - just with a bigger wage bill.
Every hour you spend on work your manager could own is an hour off the business - and off your life. Move the sliders.
Staying the bottleneck is costing you roughly
£27,600
a year
That’s £531 a week doing a job you’re already paying a manager to do. At £997 + VAT, the course pays for itself in about 13 days of your time back.
A rough estimate from your own figures - based on 46 working weeks a year.
Most managers in clinics were promoted because they were organised, reliable or great with people.
Not because anyone ever taught them how to manage.
It’s not that they’re not capable. It’s that nobody ever taught them how.
You don’t need to replace them. You just need them to be trained properly.
The Manager Transformation Course is four months of live, practical training that turns your manager from a capable administrator into a confident operational leader - delivered entirely live on Zoom.
No management theory for theory’s sake. No corporate role-play. They learn it, implement it in your business that week, then come back with questions.
By the end of the four modules, your manager will:
And you? Less firefighting. Fewer interruptions. The headspace to work on growing the business - with the confidence that the day-to-day is genuinely handled.

Each module runs across a month: one 4-hour live workshop, then two 90-minute implementation and Q&A sessions - all on Thursday mornings. Because training without action is just information.
Nichola Hemmings · HostLive and interactive, in a small group of people doing the same job - not a webinar they half-watch with their camera off.
The toolkit they’ll use long after the course ends:
Every session runs on a Thursday morning, live on Zoom. Twelve dates from October 2026 to January 2027.
| Module 1 | Thu 1, 8 & 15 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|
| Module 2 | Thu 5, 12 & 19 Nov 2026 |
| Module 3 | Thu 3, 10 & 17 Dec 2026 |
| Module 4 | Thu 14, 21 & 28 Jan 2027 |
First date in each row is the workshop (9.30am to 1.30pm); the other two are the implementation & Q&A sessions (12pm to 1.30pm). All Thursdays, all on Zoom.
Your manager learns the key operational numbers that drive a successful clinic - diary utilisation, new patient and trial conversion, retention, rebooking, occupancy - and how to turn a weekly scorecard into action.
Outcome: They start spotting problems before they become bigger issues.
The confidence to actually manage people rather than coordinate tasks - accountability, difficult conversations, feedback, one-to-ones, running team meetings that work, and setting expectations.
Outcome: They lead the team and deal with people issues without leaning on you.
Consistently great patient and client experiences through effective systems - the patient and client journey, retention, service standards, complaints, SOPs and day-to-day efficiency.
Outcome: Better patient and client experiences, stronger retention, smoother operations.
From reactive to proactive - prioritisation, time management, problem solving, managing upwards, decision making and project ownership.
Outcome: A trusted operational partner who takes ownership instead of waiting for instruction.
Can’t make one? Every session is recorded - and with advance notice, they can complete that module when it next runs.
The Manager Transformation Course is brought to you by Katie Bell and Nichola Hemmings - and delivered live by Nichola.

Nichola Hemmings
Chief Operating Officer, Thrive
As Chief Operating Officer at Thrive, Nichola has spent more than 25 years leading business operations, managing high-performing teams and helping organisations grow.
Alongside managing seven-figure businesses, Nichola also stepped into the role of Interim Business Manager for Katie’s own clinic - giving her first-hand experience of the operational realities of running a busy clinic.
She hasn’t just studied the job your manager is stepping into. She’s done it - and she’s still doing it, every single week.
For more than four years, Nichola has worked as a Strategic Coach at Thrive, supporting hundreds of clinic owners to strengthen their operations, develop their teams and reduce owner dependency.
Alongside Katie Bell - Thrive’s founder, and the owner of the clinic Nichola ran.
This course has been built around the real challenges she helps owners solve every week.
This is for the non-clinical people who hold the day-to-day together:
They don’t need to arrive as a brilliant manager. That’s the whole point.
And you’re welcome to sit in alongside them - though the place, and the transformation, is theirs.
And to be honest about who it’s NOT for:
If any of that made you bristle, this probably isn’t for you. If it made you nod, keep reading.
There aren’t any (yet). We’ve never formally run this course before - even though we’ve had no end of demand for it.
So we’re not going to pack this page with quotes we don’t have. What we can tell you is this:
Deliberately small. Deliberately hands-on. And only open to Thrive members.

We put the questions we hear most straight to Nichola. Here’s what she says.
I'd invite you to look at it another way... what if you don't invest in them and they stay?
You'll still be the bottleneck. You'll still be the person all decisions have to go through, because they haven't developed the skills or confidence to step up.
In my experience, when owners invest in their managers, those managers tend to feel more valued, more engaged and more committed to the business.
And even if they did leave one day, your business would still benefit from everything they've implemented while they were with you.
I completely get that. But I'd actually say that's one of the biggest reasons they should be on the programme.
If they're constantly firefighting and reacting, nothing changes.
Done properly, it makes them more effective in the work they're already doing, so it frees their week up over time.
If this programme saves you just a couple of interruptions every day because they're making decisions and solving problems independently, it'll very quickly pay for itself.
You absolutely could - but let me ask you this... have you managed to so far?
You might get ten-minute conversations between patients, meetings or dealing with problems. But that just means your manager learns bits and pieces over several years rather than following a structured pathway.
This programme gives them dedicated time to learn, implement and ask questions, whilst giving you that time back to focus on growing the business instead of constantly training them.
That's exactly who we've designed it for. We're not expecting delegates to arrive as brilliant managers.
Most have been promoted because they're organised, reliable or great with people - not because they've had any formal management training.
The whole purpose of the programme is to build that confidence gradually through practical learning, implementation and ongoing support.
We want them to leave each module thinking, 'I can actually do this,' rather than feeling overwhelmed.
Every session is recorded, so they can watch it back in their own time.
And if you let us know in advance, they can complete that module when it next runs.
Still not sure if your manager’s the right fit? Drop us a WhatsApp and we’ll give you a straight answer.
No pressure. No hard sell. Just a proper conversation.
There’s no countdown timer and no deadline date. Enrolment simply closes when the last places are gone.
